Phil&Teds is a New Zealand Based company established in 1994. The company manufactures baby strollers, travel systems, car seats and feeding systems and sell them world wide. They are noted for their tandem strollers which are sold in over 40 countries.
Introduction
The Phil and Teds Verve is the latest “uptown” Stroller. It can be easily converted into a double so it can grow with your family. The Verve stroller can carry a car seat and have the double kit and this makes it an extremely versatile stroller. The Phil Teds Verve Stroller double kit has a well designed, one hand recline which is very useful. Today, Phil and Teds double stroller is one of the leaders in the world.Features

Seat
The verve seat is very large for a stroller and comes with a padded insert which makes it very comfortable for your baby.There is a padded, removable bumper bar. This has a removable, zip-off cover for easy cleaning.
The seat has a very adjustable recline system. It can be reclined with one hand by adjusting a strap but it will take two hands to move upright again. However this is a very simple system and works great.
Weight limit for the seat is 44 lbs
In single mode, the frame can accommodate a car seat adapter (sold separately) thus making it into a transport system. A double kit is available (sold seperatly for approx $120).
Hood/Canopy
The hood is very adjustable and will protect your child from just about any angle.The double kit hood is smaller but more than adequate. However this must be removed before folding.
Wheels
The rear wheels have mud guards. These actually prevent little fingers form children in the double kit from rubbing against the wheels. The rear wheels have pneumatic tires. The front wheels are solid but have suspension.The rear wheels are easily removed but you will need a screwdriver to remove the front wheels. The front wheels can be locked in place or allowed to castor freely.
Brakes
The Verve stroller brakes are hand operated and the system works extremely well. The brake is applied by pressing a small, red button on the hand grip and released by pressing a larger, black button.Double Kit
The double kit seat is quite large and also comes with a padded insert. It has a 3 position recline operated by a single lever – this is very handy. The recline allows toddlers to sleep in a comfortable position when in double mode.One down side is that older children (2 years and older) are strong enough to stretch the cargo area fabric with their feet, making it possible for them to press against the front wheels if they get boisterous.
Folding
In single mode, release the side clamps just below the bumper bar center line and push down on the red hook on the left side. The stroller frame folds in half and locks automatically. It is possible to break the clamp handles during transport if they are not folded back in again.In double mode, the phil and teds double stroller kit hood needs to be removed before folding. It is then a simple process to detach the double kit to enable it to slide forward, under the main seat. Folding then proceeds as for single mode.
